ICG America Purchases Online Wine Club

ICG America Inc., a Stamford, CT-based e-commerce holding company, has acquired California Reds Wine Club, which promotes Napa Valley, CA, wines. Terms were not disclosed.

ICG said it plans to launch a catalog in early 2007.

"The chance to add a recognized brand like California Reds to our stable of e-commerce properties is something we don't see often," said in a statement ICG America president John Patterson. "As one of the original online wine clubs with thousands of loyalty members, this was an opportunity we couldn't ignore."
