Misery loves company, so we're guessing stress isn't a loner either.
Those who are feeling stressed out — possibly by their dry skin — now have a social media outlet. Johnson's recently put up a microsite (www.johnsonsforyou.com/escape) to promote its Melt Away Stress skin-care products.
The site features stress tips and stories from celebrities and experts such as actress Ana Ortiz from “Ugly Betty” and psychologist and life coach Dr. Michelle Callahan; a Jamaica getaway sweepstakes; and an “Escape Your Stress” quiz. Women also are invited to share their stories about the stress in their lives. A new topic will be featured each week; the writers of the most popular stories will receive a $100 Spafinder.com gift certificate and Johnson's products. Consumers who register at the site will get a trial coupon for the skin-care line.
The site was developed by interactive marketing agency Deep Focus and promotion is being done jointly with Glam Media. Print ads supporting the campaign are running in Allure, Glamour, InStyle, In Touch Weekly, and Us Weekly.
