Consona is a customer relationship management/enterprise resource planning software and services firm jointly owned by Battery Ventures VI LP and Thoma Bravo LLC.

SupportSoft’s products are now offerings from Consona’s CRM division, which is headed by general manager Tom Millay.

According to a Conosa statement, the company will augment its existing bundled solutions, including the Consona Knowledge Driven Support, Knowledge Management, Enterprise CRM and OneServe Citizen Management solutions, with SupportSoft products to meet specific industry and business requirements.

In a statement, Millay added that functionality breadth and depth—in addition to broadened worldwide sales and services presence; expanded industry, product and process expertise; and cross-selling opportunities across an expanded customer base—were key drivers of the acquisition.
