Kara Trivunovic, up until recently a- e-mail marketing strategist with Premiere Global Services, has launched an e-mail marketing agency.

Yeah, yeah. It’s an agency of one with one client. But hey, Anne Holland launched MarketingSherpa out of her spare bedroom and look where that effort went.

Dubbed The Email Advisor, Trivunovic’s new agency’s aim is to “help marketers integrate e-mail into their overall marketing,” she said. “E-mail tends to operate outside of everything else.”

Her first client is Email Data Source, a firm launched and headed by Bill McCloskey that helps marketers monitor what types and how much their competitors are sending, and how effective it is at driving traffic to their Web sites.

Trivunovic was hired in 2004 by e-mail software provider Accucast as its top strategist reporting to company co-fonder Tricia Pridemore, and was part of the company when it was acquired by Premiere Global in 2006. Trivunovic remained with Premiere Global until earlier this month.

Her new venture is located in Saint John, IN, 35 miles outside of Chicago.
