Marketing services firm Epsilon, e-mail service provider Experian CheetahMail and technology provider StrongMail Systems have each announced high-profile personnel appointments recently.

Marketing services firm Epsilon announced last week that Stacia Goddard has joined its newly renamed agency, Purple@Epsilon, as executive vice president, strategic marketing services. Goddard will lead the agency’s business development efforts. She will report to David McRae, president, Purple@Epsilon.

E-mail service provider Experian CheetahMail has appointed Greg Whalen as vice president of development. Whalen, who was co-founder and Principal Consultant of Wisdom Data Services Corp, a China-based software company, will oversee the development the next version of CheetahMail's application scheduled for release later this year.

Whalen will report to Fred Lindberg, Experian CheetahMail's chief technology officer.

StrongMail today announced the appointment of Bill Griffin as chief financial officer. Griffin has more than 20 years of experience in public and private accounting, including senior management positions at InsWeb, Inference Corporation and Ernst & Young.
