Latin-Pak Moves Into Mobile Marketing

Latin-Pak has introduced a mobile marketing program for targeting Hispanic consumers. It’s the latest move in this Hispanic direct marketing firm’s expansion from print to electronic media. Advertisers can choose from three text-messaging formats (SMS, WAP and MMS) for targeting ads to cell phones. Data from downloaded ads and responses generated will be tracked for creating statistical reports. Chesterfield, MO-based Latin-Pak has assembled a mobile marketing database plus demographic selections for targeting 2.5 million Hispanic consumers. Hispanics are among the active and engaged mobile content users in the U.S., spending more on monthly phone services than non-Hispanics according to Vince Andaloro, president of Latin-Pak. The company has been taking incremental steps to offer more electronic media services, including direct e-mail transmissions and more recently Hispanic infomercial services. It has offered digital advertising placement services for several years. Latin-Pak continues to offer various print insert media and co-op programs, FSIs and door-hanger advertising. Besides Hispanics it also runs advertising programs for targeting other ethnic groups. |
