Quebecor World Sells French Printing Plant

Quebecor World has sold a printing facility based in Lille, France to a group led by local management.

In October, Quebecor had announced plans to close the plant. As part of the sales agreement, the facility will continue to operate two of the four 2.10-meter gravure presses it currently houses, and will retain 100 of its 230 employees.

The plant will service markets that do not directly compete with core businesses of Quebecor World.
