Canadian Online Sales to Reach $8.3 Billion

Canadian online sales are expected to reach $8.3 billion this year, a 25% gain over last year and next year, that number will reach 26.3%, according to EMarketer.

Factors driving this growth include the fact that considerably more Canadians plan to buy gifts online this holiday season than last year, and a number of large retail chains and smaller specialized retailers have launched online stores in Canada this year, the report noted.
