Larry Nusbaum Returns to Ronco

Larry Nusbaum has returned as chairman, CEO and president of Ronco Acquisition Corp.

“We remain committed to offering consumers innovative, high quality housewares both through our core retail and direct marketing channels,” Nusbaum said in a statement. “I’m delighted to once again be leading the charge to take this world-class franchise to the next level.”

In August 2007, Nusbaum and Marlin Equity Partners led the Simi Valley, CA-based firm out of bankruptcy and oversaw the company’s turnaround. During his tenure, he restructured and reestablished Ronco’s DRTV business and increased its retail footprint.

The original Ronco Corp was founded in 1959 by Ron Popeil, who operated it until divesting his ownership in 2005. The company is known for its use of the phrase “But wait, there’s more!” within its advertisements.
