Silverpop's O'Gorman Promoted to SVP

Elaine O'Gorman has been promoted to senior vice president of marketing an product strategy at Silverpop, the e-mail service provider announced yesterday.

She was formerly vice president of strategy.

She is now responsible for delivering products to Silverpop's clients and creating the marketing strategies to attract clients to those products, the company said in a statement.

"Elaine has been a strong driver of Silverpop's success during the past several years," said Silverpop CEO Bill Nussey, in a statement. "Her astute guidance of our marketing initiatives, development of industry-leading thought capital and implementation of products that meet customer needs has delivered solid benefits to Silverpop."
