Traffic Builders Promotes Recycled Paper for Direct Mail
Traffic Builders Inc., a Louisville, KY-based direct marketing agency, says its newly launched “We Auto Go Green” program is the first direct mail advertising services program in the automotive industry that exclusively uses recycled paper.
“While manufacturers concentrate on vehicle emissions, hybrid transportation and better gas mileage, many automotive dealerships are just as concerned about sending a green message,” said in a statement Chuck Patton, president of Traffic Builders. “It lets dealerships’ customers know that they care about reducing their carbon footprint in their communities.”
Paper and print quality won’t be comprised and there is no additional cost for dealerships to use recycled paper for direct mail. By the end of this year, Traffic Builders expects some 200 dealerships will be participating in the program.
Patton estimates the program will save one acre of woodland that otherwise would have been logged for the purposes of manufacturing new paper.
