Intellivent Group is starting a package insert program for its Schwan’s food service division. It delivers more than 3.8 million packages of frozen foods monthly to residences. A typical customer is a married 38-year-old female homeowner who earns $62,000 a year. Inserts must be between 3-1/2 by 5-1/2 inches and 5-1/2 by 8-1/2 inches; they’ll be placed inside a 6- by 9-inch envelope. Inquiries will be considered for inserts heavier than a quarter-ounce. The minimum test quantity is 250,000.

Gardens Alive Blow-in Programs
Test quantity requirements have been eased for seven Gardens Alive catalog blow-in programs managed by ALC Insert Media. Mailers no longer will be required to take full drop quantities. Inquiries will be considered for tests ranging from 200,000 to 500,000. This applies to the Audubon Workshop, Breck’s Dutch Bulb, Gardens Alive, Gurney’s Seed & Nursery, Henry Field’s Seed & Nursery, Michigan Bulb and Spring Hill catalogs.
