Announcement: This is My Last Magilla
It is with mixed emotions that I announce today that this is my final issue of Magilla Marketing.
Why am I leaving? It’s simply time to do so. I have decided I want to pursue other challenges. This newsletter’s still popular and I want to leave on a high note, or a low note, as some would no doubt contend.
First, I would like to thank Penton Media and all my colleagues there. They are among the most professional people I have ever had the honor to work with. And I truly appreciate the editorial freedom and opportunity for professional growth Penton gave me.
There aren’t too many trade publishers who would allow a writer to publish some of the outlandish stuff I’ve published in Magilla Marketing. Remember Shuvitt Inyurass? That was one of my personal favorites.
OK, so maybe the professional growth claim is a little overblown. Maybe I should be thanking Penton for allowing me to be the immature jackass that I am and get paid while doing it.
In any case, to everyone who has read even a paragraph of Magilla Marketing: Thank you. Your time is your most precious asset. That you would spend any of it reading something I’ve written is truly an honor beyond words.
