Zeta Invites Charities to Apply for Free Marketing
Zeta Interactive today put out a call for charities to apply to be selected to receive free marketing services.
Dubbed Zeta Cares, the program will accept applications at ZetaCares.com until Oct. 22, after which a panel of Zeta executives will select the charity that will receive the free services.
According to Zeta’s announcement, the services may include the design and/or hosting of a new or redesigned Web site, e-mail marketing campaign design and deployment, paid and organic search engine marketing services, social media marketing, and analytics and strategic consulting.
"The current economy has taken its toll on charities of all types," said Al DiGuido, CEO of Zeta Interactive, in a statement. "With already lean budgets growing thinner each day, charities in particular can benefit incredibly from the cost-efficiencies, measurability and immediacy that digital channels provide. But much like their for-profit counterparts, charities are having trouble making the shift to digital. We at Zeta Interactive want to help those who help others by providing our technology and expertise at no cost to build awareness for their causes, attract donors and volunteers, and spread their goodwill."
This isn’t DiGuido’s first foray into charity work.
He is also founder of Al’s Angels, a group dedicated to helping families with children suffering from cancer, blood diseases, AIDS and family violence.
Zeta Interactive will announce the charity it has chosen to work with following the Oct. 22 application deadline, according to the release.
