Terry Peterson Takes Over As Deluxe Corp. CFO

Terry D. Peterson was promoted to CFO of Deluxe Corp. effective immediately. He takes the place of Richard S. Greene, who has resigned from the company, according to a company statement.

Peterson joined Deluxe in September 2004 as director of internal audit. Since March 2005, he has served as Deluxe's chief accounting office. In October 2006, he added responsibilities – and title – of VP of investor relations. In addition, he served as chief financial officer on an interim basis from May to September 2006.

Prior to joining Deluxe, Peterson held positions with Ecolab, Provell, Jostens and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

"We appreciate Rick's contributions to Deluxe and wish him well in his future endeavors." said Lee Schram, Deluxe’s CEO, in a statement.

Deluxe Corp. Recently reported a drop in third-quarter revenue, from $362.7 million a year ago to $332.3 million. But its net income rose from $13.8 million to $28.6 million, largely as the result of reductions in restructuring expenses.
