Lighthouse Forms AmeriBase to Focus on E-mail and Text Messages

Steve McFadden has been named president of AmeriBase, a new e-mail and text messaging phone list division at Lighthouse List Co., based in Pompano Beach, FL.

McFadden has more than 30 years of experience in advertising and marketing research. Most recently he was vice president of ThruChannel, a multichannel list management firm.

The new division is an outgrowth of Lighthouse’s existing AmeriBase database group of postal and e-mail lists. AmeriBase will manage and coordinate e-mail lists and text messaging services for multichannel marketing campaigns.

McFadden will primarily focus on bringing new e-mail and phone text messaging lists to market, as Lighthouse seeks a larger presence outside the postal list arena, he says.

AmeriBase will offer list data from multiple Web sites, including purchase and survey data in hundreds of interest categories, besides demographic and psychographic enhancements.

“We’re going to aggregate a lot of data from smaller organizations in a larger database,” he says.
