Redbank, NJ-based Datagence Inc. has acquired for an undisclosed sum the affinity-marketing firm Memberdrive Inc., which will now be operated as a division of Datagence.

Under terms of the purchase agreement, Datagence has acquired full control of Memberdrive's operations and client programs. Memberdrive will continue to be operated by Steve Horne, president and Dori Bruno, the firm's chief operating officer.

Founded in 2000, Memberdrive presently manages a database of 60 million members of affinity marketing programs, including the National Wildlife Federation and Paralyzed Veterans of America.
