DMA Sets Up Deceased Do-Not-Contact List
Jul 22, 2005 9:04 AM
The Direct Marketing Association has set up its Deceased Do-Not-Contact List (DDNC). For $1, friends, relatives and caregivers of deceased individuals can register the information on The DMA's Consumer Assistance Site at: http://preference.the-dma.org/cgi/ddnc.php. All DMA members will be required to honor the DDNC, which will also be available to non-member companies. The DDNC list will include the deceased individual's name, address, phone number, and e-mail address. The information will updated monthly. |
