Amazon.com has launched an office products section as part of its online retail offerings. The new section, http://www.amazon.com/office showcases more than 50,000 Office Depot products.

The new section makes use of standard Amazon tools, such as customer reviews, search and personalization features. The multi-year agreement between the two firms calls for Amazon to provide transaction processing and Office Depot to manage inventory and product fulfillment services.

Additionally, Office Depot will provide product-related customer service, and Amazon will offer customer care as it pertains to Web site functionality and credit card transactions.
