Blagman Media Acquires Century Media

Blagman Media International Inc., a global direct response marketing and advertising agency, will purchase Century Media Inc.

The combined entity will be named Blagman/Century Media. The deal is expected to close in mid March.

Century stockholders will receive stock and cash, but the transaction's value was not disclosed. BMII will not make any new stock offerings to finance the merger.

The two companies billed $50 million during 2001. Both staffs will be absorbed under the new entity, with a total workforce of roughly 40 employees. Century Media is headquartered in Santa Monica, CA.

Los Angeles-based BMII is looking to make additional acquisitions within the general advertising community, Robert Blagman, CEO of Blagman, said in a statement.
