EBay Closes Its Customer-Complaint E-mail
Online auction site eBay is canceling its e-mail complaint link, according to CNET.
On May 15, the company is closing its direct e-mail link to SafeHarbor, the department that responds to questions about suspicious activity or fraud complaints. Instead, eBay will make available on its Web site a form that visitors can fill out to complain.
The company has made no formal announcement. Consumers also complain that to get onto the complaint form, they now have to register as members. eBay does not make available a customer service number listed, according to the report.
The company said that the reason for the change was to streamline customer service.
