Merkafon Acquires Call Center From Access Worldwide

Merkafon, a Mexican direct marketing firm, has agreed to acquire Access Worldwide's call center in Plano, Texas. Access Worldwide is an American ethnic direct marketing company. Terms were not disclosed.

The Plano operation will be renamed Merkafon International and will continue to be managed by John Allen. The Merkafon International 300-workstation center will be backed by Merkafon's 1,100+ workstations in Monterrey, Mexico, connected via a digital CTI network.
