Scholastic has appointed Mauricio Sabene as vice president, Spanish Publishing. He will be responsible for Scholastic operations in Latin America, including wholly-owned subsidiaries in Mexico, Argentina and Puerto Rico, as well as for Lectorum, a Scholastic company, and the largest publisher and distributor of Spanish books in the United States.
