Valassis Buys NCH Marketing Services

Valassis has purchased NCH Marketing Services Inc., a coupon processing and promotion information management firm based in Deerfield, MI, for $60 million in cash.

Brian J. Husselbee, president and CEO of NCH, and the rest of the NCH management team will remain in their current roles. Husselbee has been on the Valassis board of directors since 1998.

Valassis, Livonia, MI, provides sampling, direct mail, marketing programs and a variety of newspaper advertising and insert services to consumer packaged good firms.
