Omnicom Acquires The Kern Organization

The Diversified Agency Services Division (DAS) of Omnicom Group Inc. has acquired The Kearn Organization. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

Kern, which is based on Woodland Hills, CA, specializes in customer acquisition and business-to-business lead generation. The Kearn Organization will remain an independent brand, but will function under DAS's Rapp Collins Worldwide. Founder Russel Kern will remain president of Kern.

The Kern Organization will be under the aegis of Rapp Collins Worldwide CEO Bob Horvath.
