Shared mail firm Advo Inc. reported $13 million in third quarter revenue, down from the $13.2 million it generated during third quarter 2004. The company’s revenue rose from $318.9 million a year ago to $353.6 million. The quarter ended June 25.

The Windsor, CT-based firm sent out 15.9% more advertising pieces during the quarter, and increases in its frequency and reach – particularly in southern California – spurred a 15.8% jump in shared advertising packages. But the overall revenue per piece dropped 4%. The number of pieces per envelope held steady at 8.43.
