SFW Capital Buys Agrarian Analytics Firm AGDATA

Private equity firm SFW Capital Partners has purchased AGDATA, a data and analytics capabilities provider which focuses on the agricultural and animal health industries. The company also designs and administers targeted marketing programs and performs custom research.

SFW partnered in this investment with AGDATA’s CEO, Richard Bettison, members of the company’s management, and Verl Purdy, AGDATA’s founder who continues as a major shareholder. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
