Cooperative marketing firm Valassis has extended the contract of its chairman, president and CEO for three years. Alan F Schltz’s contract, which had been set to expire on Dec. 31 of this year, was renewed through January 2012. According to Valassis, under Schultz’s leadership the company’s revenue has nearly quadrupled, and its customer base and product portfolio have both been enhanced.
Canada Post has launched a program to help educate marketers and consumers on responsible usage of direct mail and its impact on the environment. Marketers can visit http://www.canadapost.ca/green, which offers suggestions on how to use direct mail to target their messages and offer consumers information that is relevant to them.
