U.S. Teleservices Market Projected to Exceed $20 Billion

The domestic market for outsourced teleservices is projected to grow to $20.1 billion by 2012, according to a study conducted by Frost & Sullivan. That's compared to $19.5 million in teleservices industry revenues generated in 2005.

Recent economic growth is spurring companies to focus on client acquisition and retention programs through teleservices, according to Michael DeSalles, industry analyst at Frost & Sullivan.

Some companies are reluctant to hand over control of call center operations to an offshore facility located far from the home office in U.S., which is another factor driving domestic teleservices growth.
