Fetch Enterprises Names Edward R. Howell CEO

Fetch Enterprises Inc. has named Edward R. Howell CEO. Through a variety of channels, Fetch provides supplies and information for dog owners.

Howell takes the position over from David E. Shaw, a Fetch founder and chairman who had served as acting CEO during the executive search process. Shaw also serves as managing director of Black Point Group LP, an equity firm that has invested in Fetch.

Previously he had served as senior VP and chief retail officer and a member of the board of LL Bean, Inc., as well as President of Eastern Mountain Sports and the Sorel division of Columbia Sportswear.

In comments welcoming Howell, Shaw noted his “extensive executive management experience at ‘academy companies’ in the consumer direct marketing world, with highly relevant expertise in marketing and sales, merchandising, operations and other functions in domestic and international markets.”

Howell is a lifelong dog owner, according to a company statement.
