Letters to the Editor
THEY'RE EVERYWHERE
I really enjoyed Ray Schultz's comments on the pervasiveness (or is it invasiveness) of corporate logos that dominate (or is it litter) sports arenas, bus windows, and streets (Direct Hit, March).
My hometown, Los Angeles — whose native children include tennis great Pancho Gonzales, sculptor Isamu Noguchi, singer Etta James and civil/human rights leaders Ruben Salazar, Saul Castro and Edward Roybal — has its basketball games at the Staples Center and its soccer games at the Home Depot Center.
By any chance is Ray familiar with Naomi Klein's book, “No Logo”?
