Mouth and Foot Painting Artists Inc. has begun offering its customer list to commercial mailers. It names 400,000 buyers from the last 12 months. For nonprofits it’s still only available for exchanges. Those on the file paid an average of $14 for greeting cards, wrapping paper, color prints and calendars—all highlighting works by artists who have lost or never had the use of their hands. The main source is direct mail (90%).
