AOL Search Vet To Lead People Search Database Firm

Eric Ludwig has joined PeekYou as the company’s president and chief operating officer.

PeekYou is a people-search engine which relies on public records and Internet data to build its consumer file.

Ludwig joins PeekYou from AOL, where he was he director of the company’s search engine marketing program.

Ludwig previously led AOL's Renewal and Payment Marketing team, where he was tasked with retaining AOL's most-at-risk customers. He has also held roles in research and product management at NASA's NTTC and at VeriSign, and led marketing efforts at startups such as CustomInk.com, ThinkGeek.com, and Procapslabs.com.

At PeekYou, Ludwig is charged with developing new tools and applications for its social search and reputation management platform.
